"This sweater is safety, security and protection. I love that no one else in this world will ever understand why this sweater means so much to me. It’s my own little secret that I can find comfort in. This item makes its way into the world when I am feeling vulnerable and my heart needs extra protection that day from whatever life is throwing at me. I’ve conquered an embarrassing amount of emotional breakdowns and dodged many awkward social interactions in this sweater."

Georgia is a bold and elegant font that is highly readable, even on smaller screens. So it’s ideal for mobile.

Where did you get it?

On a spontaneous 24 hour trip to Oregon.

How long have you had it for?

For about 2 years.

"This is one of the first items I bought when I started looking more into sustainable fashion. I really admire the designer, Miranda Bennett--all of her clothing is manufactured ethically by women in the USA and she uses plant-derived materials to make her pieces. I also love the color--as someone who usually wears darker tones, this is one of the very few pieces of bright clothing in my closet. It reminds me of summer and living somewhere that isn’t grey and dreary like Seattle (I still got love for my city, though)."

"It’s kinda funny I picked this item as my favorite one in my closet because when I first got these shoes delivered to me all the way from morocco, I honestly couldn’t care less about them. I was like: here is another shoe that will never see the light of day because it wasn’t in agreement with me stylistically. However, this pair of embellishment clogs are all what I’m about now! It’s as though my granny knew exactly the direction in which my style was bound to go and evolve. And for that, I love them even more!"

"It’s special to me because I wore it to walk on stage in front of the whole school twice as I received two awards.  The dress always reminded me of that day, which is the highlight of my life (so far). It’s my favorite dress also because it has invisible pockets."

Where did you get it?

I got the dress at Nordstrom a week before my high school graduation day.

How long have you had it for?

I've had it for a year and a half.
